Since when is it ok for a Labour Union to spout out such racist anti-semitic garbage? Israel is a sovereign state. Hamas is the legitimately elected representative government of the Palestinian peoples of Gaza. Hamas has fired over 6500 missiles at populated areas of Israel with the strict interest in maiming and preferable killing Jewish men, women, and children. The Hamas strictly refuses to accept a ceasefire, peace terms, or cessation of any hostilities with the Jewish State and only accepts the complete annihilation of Israel and Jews and Christians within and without the area. Given all this, I would think, as I am sure any reasonable person would, that Hamas has declared war on Israel, Jews and Christians (that includes most of you). Israel is 100 percent justified in retaliating and should be commended for the outstanding restraint it has shown. I don't see Hamas warning bus riders of suicide bombers, do you?

If anyone should be condemned it is Hamas who fires from populated ares using the bodies of women and children as shields and then cries out when they are hurt or killed. But just as the Soviets did in the cold war, Hamas uses "Useful Idiots" like CUPW to further their aims of jihad in Canada and Europe.

I just wish the Human Rights Commissions were doing what they are paid for and going after the likes of you folks. Racism has no place in trade unions. It only lessens the value of your opinions and makes your membership look real bad. Shame on you. If Lenin and his comrades were alive today and have been listening to comrades Sid Ryan, head of CUPE in Ontario, and Denis Lemelin, head of the CUPW, they would welcome them with an open arms into the fold, and amended a definition of Trade Unions to include "the school of bigotry and terrorism abetting". Just because Mr. Lemelin is condemning Israel's terrorist actions (which have been described as hate crimes, war crimes, terrorist activities akin to a holocaust by the ENTIRE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY INCLUDING THE UN, NGOs, IGOs and powerful world governments including Britain, France and Russia) this does not make him anti-Semitic. Why is it that whenever Israel is condemned it is automatically considered anti-semitic but when ALL ARAB ORGANIZATIONS, MOVEMENTS OR PEOPLES are described this is not considered anti-Muslim or anti-Islamic but rather a fair and justified opinion? Hamas was democratically elected and it's not for others to say whether they should be in power or not. Instead of categorizing all Muslims as terrorists, how about take a look at world events and how many religions continue to massacre other peoples - ESPECIALLY the Christians and Jews?

Take a look at the international community - are all these people equally stupid when they all protest in condemnation of Israel's actions? It wasn't just the Arab countries who were protesting - it included countries such as Britain, the US and France.

What Israel needs to do is get the hell out of Gaza and stop occupying the territory of the Palestinians! As all world leaders and the UN has repeatedly says "THERE NEEDS TO BE A TWO-STATE SOLUTION" in which Palestine and Israel both co-exist. If Israel didn't continue to occupy the Palestinian territories for decades, there would be no rockets being fired. By the way, what do you all think about the IDF blowing up UN schools and shelters? IDF obviously had the coordinates of these buildings but chose to shell them anyway. Might your response be that the Gazans were standing in the way of the building? Yah, it must be their fault. Israel has continued to terrorize the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza for decades and this needs to stop!!

And by the way, I'm sick of hearing those lame stories of how the Israelis are living in fear and only have 15 seconds to run to their bomb shelters. Please. At least they have a warning of 15 seconds and at least they have bomb shelters. Come to think of it, at least they have homes and shelter and food and water, everything that is denied to the Palestinians! Caging them up, cutting off all assistance and blocking all borders is terrorism and torture and the Israelis might as well be called Hitler.

You all need to pull your heads out of your asses and wake up. The international community hates Israel for their stupid actions and if not for the US, there would have been additional military actions taken against Israel. If Israel wasn't doing anything wrong and were "protecting" themselves then why did the UN Security Council and the UN Human Rights Council pass resolutions for a cease-fire and for Israel to withdraw? Are they stupid too? Or maybe they're just communists, right? PLEASE. GROW UP.

And the only reason Israel is a sovereign state is because they stole land, called it their own, ventured to the US and fund most major US companies and the US is afraid they'll pull their money out if they don't support these terrorists.
