Pacific Free Press was launched in March 2007 by Dutch-Canadian Richard
Kastelein of V.O.F. Expathos, in the Netherlands along with Chris Cook- CFUV radio journalist and Editor in Chief of Pacific Free Press. Cook is based in , Victoria, British Columbia.
The site is a sister to Atlantic Free Press and Brick Ogden an American Expatriate in Amsterdam has been a key supporter of this project.
The mission of Pacific Free Press is simple: to dig out nuggets of truth from
the slag-heap of lies, ignorance and witless diversion that has buried
public discourse today. Pacific Free Press provides a new venue for
disseminating hard news and insightful, fact-based analysis of the
harsh realities too often ignored or distorted by the mainstream press.

George W. Bush: Man of Peace?
It may be a little bit of a
stretch, what considering the hundreds upon hundreds of thousands
innocent victims killed by Americans and their Anglo-Axis allies in
the farcical War on Terror, but the Whitehouse announced last week its
intention to broker a peace deal between Israel, and the civilian
population that state has murdered and terrorized with impunity for
more than half a century.
Yes, George W. "Bring 'em on" Bush believes
he can achieve what presidents Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon,
Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush senior, and Clinton all failed to do, stopping Israel's rapacious criminality, as practiced against generations
of the Palestinian people.
But, is Bush serious, or is the
Annapolis Summit meeting scheduled later this week merely a cynical and
self-serving vanity?
Jon Elmer is a Canadian freelance photojournalist,
author, and creator of the website, From Occupied Palestine.org. He has
travelled in, and reported from, Occupied Palestine, and will join us
in the first segment.
And; Canada is today standing on the
precipice of an ecological abyss most of us neither know, nor care
about.
That is the message of 'Stupid to the Last Drop: How Alberta is
Bringing Environmental Armageddon to Canada (And Doesn't Seem to
Care).' William Marsden is an award-winning investigative reporter, and author of the best-selling books 'Angels of Death' and 'The Road to Hell.'
His
newest book chronicles a journey through the Canadian oil patch, drawing a
disturbing picture of inexorable environmental destruction, and an
industry apparently run amok.
William Marsden and Canada down the pipes
in the second half.
And; Janine Bandcroft will be here at the
bottom of the hour to bring us up to speed with all that's good to do
in and around Victoria in the coming week.
But first, Jon Elmer and the
worth of a Bush peace promise for Palestine.
G-Radio is dedicated to social justice, the environment, community, and
providing a forum for people and issues not covered in the corporate
