<title>Don't take it out on Kosovo</title>
			<link>http://pacificfreepress.com/content/view/2282/81/#pc_1764</link>
<description>What kind of journalism is this.

You quote at least two Serbs, but feel not compelled to throw at least one from a Kosovar.

You line up the Russian and Serbian argument but see not necessary to counter them by those given by the West.

Now please YOU pay attention

If you have a problem with US foreign policy don't try to take your little revenge with the small and suffering people of Albanians.

Kosovo is not an historical province of Serbia. The Serbs invaded it in 1912, using the same methods of 1998-1999 (who cared then just like you don't care now).

Who cares for the fate of small nations. Right?

Serbia had Kosovo for 90 years thanks to the Russian Empire influence on European Affairs. Nobody asked the people of Kosovo, who were colonized like many other nations and people in the world.
For 90 years they treated Albanians like second-class citizens. They killed, imprisoned, forced them to leave massively to Albania and Turkey.

The war of 1998-99, was not really a war. It was a Hitlerian type military machine of a state against an unprotected people. KLA was just a bunch of disorganized guys who tried to put some resistance to the horrible opression.

NATO may have intervened for a thousand of wrong reasons, from securing a post-cold war existence to covering the Lewinsky scandal, for what I care. But they did stop a genocide and did protect the underdog there.

At least three mass graves have been found in Serbia's capital, with hundred of bodies of Albanian civilians (women and children included).
Why were the bodies there? Because the Serbs took them to hide. Don't let the fog of you little war against NATO and US cover the crimes made by others.

Trying to say that both sides committed crimes is wrong. There is a clear difference between organized ethnic cleansing campaign sponsored by a state machine and sporadic revenge attacks.

200 Serbs killed in 8 years since the end of the war will not make up for 10,000 Albanians killed in executory style by people wearing uniforms.

Yes, Serbian churches were burned, but when the Serbs burn the Albanian churches they made sure the women and children did not get out of it. Korenica village comes to mind. Women and children hid in the church to escape the killings. The soldiers set fire to the church and shot whomever tried to get out.

And all your borrowed arguments are wrong. I will take only one.
You say &quot;Already, this UDI has been compared by some Serbs to Alaska breaking away from the USA. How would Washington react to that?&quot;
How many mass graves are there in Washington DC with bodies of Alaskian civilians killed? What language do Alaskians speak that is different from the rest of America? How many Alaskians were killed trying to resist US occupation? Did you too took all the main jobs from Alaskians and gave them to other Americans.

Please, there is no comparison to Kosovo with any American or European context. - Ruben</description>
