Globalization is a European construct, and is favored not only by the far right and corporatists, but by the far left extremes as well. It's why they are allied on the subject. Nor is their interest in lessening poverty and providing freedom and eradicating poverty. It's to facilitate tighter controls and implimenting the fascism that was birthed on the far leftist end of the dial.

It's more than well apparent that when writers like yourself make excuses for illegal aliens, yet ignore the realities of impoverished American citizens, who are forced out of the workplace and can not afford to feed themselves and their children or keep a roof over their heads. You simply do not care about reducing poverty, it's merely an excuse for you to rationalize the exploitation of it for your own ideological agenda.

Far leftist looney, Medea Benjamin got herself involved in third party talks with Nike and other multinationals about sweat shops in China, and told them she didn't care about their treating workers like slaves, as long as they adopted "green" measures in their factories.

You don't care about demanding that wealthy governments like Mexico and others in Latin America raise wage standards and opportunities.. no, you seek to dismiss the very real claims of American workers that they are being discriminated against by the same corporate interests in the US, that you pretend to disdain at the global level.

In short, you are no different than they are. - Jenny
