How do Americans keep falling for the media hype and campaign extravaganzas when the outcome is always against our best interests? If it were due to chance or incompetence, rather than a conspiracy, at least half of the time our politicians would be doing something right for the country, which is never the case.

Incredibly, it has taken two terms for the majority of Americans to become upset with George W. Bush's warmongering and totalitarianism. In customary fashion the opposition party, the Democrats, pretending to be moderate, are being set up by the controlled media to come in and "save the day" in 2008. With each cycle, Americans fight more wars, increase their debt, and lose more of their Constitution, sovereignty, and traditional values. The 2008 election may be our last chance to put someone in office who truly represent the interests of the United States, before the door to the people's power completely closes. - a guest

I can not for the life of me understand why Democrats are not standing in line to back the one leader in this country who has always shown his opposition to war!
