			<description>I'm with you all the way on this Cow-pandemic.  There's no question that it's furthering the decline of intellectual skills available to America's youth.  It is bad ju ju, it's seductive medicine, it's a nasty dance with the devil.  However, this trend has been going on for decades.  My suggestion is to keep the outrage and take a longer view of efforts that have been underway since the beginnI'm with you all the way on this Cow-pandemic.  There's no question that it's furthering the decline of intellectual skills available to America's youth.  It is bad ju ju, it's seductive medicine, it's a nasty dance with the devil.  However, this trend has been going on for decades.  My suggestion is to keep the outrage while taking a longer view of efforts to manipulate â€œeducationâ€ that have been underway since the beginning of the twentieth century--if not earlier.

You can think conspiracy if that's what works for you but the real culprit has been, and continues to be our obsequious worship at the alter of systems, especially our vaunted educational system.

The assertion that America's storied educational system builds citizenship and levels the playing field is a rosy one but I dare you to see whether or not it has actually done so.  I challenge you to look closely at the results of compulsory education in this country and compare it with what was achieved prior to those laws being passed and enforced.

The COW is a blatant affront to our intelligence and ability to think critically.  But I wonder what youâ€™ll find once youâ€™ve taken a closer look at deliberate changes that have been made in the way the three â€˜râ€™s have been taught in our ballyhooed public schools over the past century.

			<description>Cows are really no worse than what many kids get in primary school these days. How do you think so many get to high school without being able to read and write? I say it's a fact: The dirty little secrets of the National Education Association are: 1) many if not most K-12 teachers are incompetent know-nothings; 2) education as an academic discipline is a major cause of the problem -- not the solution.

I'm struck by the fact that in primary school these days, the thing that's taught most rigorously is self-esteem.
